The exhaust gas first enters the venturi, in which the flue gas flow rate changes from slow to fast and then to slow due to the scaling effect of throat. During the convergent-divergent process, the flue gas is mixed with the alkaline droplets ejected by the atomizer set in the venturi. The fine dust particles in the exhaust gas are wetted and agglomerated by the aerosol, which increases density and enters the dust collector uniformly and tangentially under the action of centrifugal force, so that the soot with larger particle size and wet agglomerated soot are separated. In this process, the high temperature flue gas is cooled and part of the sulfur dioxide is removed. Under the tangential action, the exhaust gas entering the dust collector spirals up along the inner wall and the water overflowing in the upper water tank collides with the spirally rising gas, scrubbing and melting, prolonging the contact time between the flue gas and the absorbent, so that the sulfur trioxide and desulfurizer react fully to remove soot and sulfur dioxide. After desulfurization, the absorbing liquid falls into the bottom of the precipitator, part of the supernatant water overflows into the circulating sedimentation tank from the upper overflow outlet in the lower part, and part of the precipitated ash water is discharged from the lower outlet and reused after the grey water is separated in the sedimentation tank.

The steel plate and the granite arc plate are bonded and filled with special acid-resistant cement to form an integral structure. Compared with the commonly used bulk water-film dust scrubber, its external structure avoids the defects of water leakage and water seepage in the joints, which obviously improved the dust removal and desulfurization effect with standardized verticality and the circular arc of the water film surface. The water inlet tank adopts a closed overflow tank, and the bottom water seal is in internal overflow closed structure.
